Trampers.
Long distance lorry drivers are often known within the transport industry as "Trampers".
Tramping up and down the country or across the continent, living in their cabs for days,
weeks or in the case of many european drivers, even months at a time. The ubiquitous
sight of lorries parked up overnight in lay-bys, motorway service areas or truckstops go
virtually unnoticed by many. Although without them we would surely realise what an integral
role they play in keeping the economy going.
This project is to show an appreciation to this often forgotten group of key workers, whom without,
the country's infrastructure would not function.
